Neila “Valis” Owen’s journey is defined by resilience, dedication, and an unyielding love for music. With a career spanning decades, she has worked across the music spectrum, from mainstream stages to indie scenes, offering her talents as a tour manager, music producer, audio engineer, and co-owner of multiple record labels. Her expertise includes live and studio engineering, promotions, merchandising, and even radio—a testament to her all-encompassing commitment to supporting artists and their craft.

 

In 2010, Neila’s path took a dramatic turn when she faced a life-threatening crisis that nearly shattered her dreams. Instead, it became a catalyst, igniting a newfound determination to live fully and embrace her calling. The years that followed weren’t easy, marked by personal and professional challenges that would have made others turn back. But Neila’s spirit was unbreakable. She knew she had a mission beyond the business of music: to return to her roots, where artistry and authenticity matter most.

 

When the time came to part ways with her last company, Neila knew her next step had to be different. She committed herself fully to her passion, driven by a single principle: to elevate music for music’s sake, to honor the artists, and to cultivate spaces where they can thrive.
